James Marcoff has been writing poems and prose for over 20 years. His works include poetry about the pursuit of love, sanity, acceptance, the odd and absurd, and various other topics. His works are heavily influenced by many of the 20th century poets, both famous and obscure, such as Robert Frost, Allen Ginsburg, Shel Silverstein, Jim Carroll, and Margaret Atwood. Other earlier influences include authors such as Edgar Allan Poe, William Shakespeare, and Lewis Carroll.
